A Crutching Frame with Chest Belt can help reduce back fatigue while
shearing . The device is a steel loop with a padded chest belt across the
bottom on which the shearer rests his upper body while bending over to shear
sheep. The frame hangs from a beam by spring-loaded cables, which balance
the weight of the shearer to take the pressure off his/her back.
